I'm getting more into model/portrait (and band promo) photography. I'm looking to purchase a lighting kit.

I've got it narrowed down to a few light kits.

and

Which one would you go with for your first 'Pro' lighting kit?

I think I'm gonna drop some money on a Nikon SB-26 as well. (what would you go with?)

Thanks for the input!!!

I think 32'' for an umbrella is a bit small. But I'm no pro.

I agree and would suggest 42'' or more. I am in the market for some Large top quality umbrellas like Impact or Westcott.

The cheap Ebay and Amvona Umbrellas I purchased suck.

I use the SB-24's and love em. I have 3.

Sb-24, 25, 26, 28, 80, 80dx are all nice speedlights with full manual control. i don't think you can go wrong with any of them.

Where would you go to get any of those nikon speedlights? (aside from ebay)
I'm having trouble finding somewhere to get them.

I got all of mine off Craigslist $50 each. Look often.
I also got them from the Minneapolis/St. paul Craigslist.
