The changes in my version was that I used 3/4 cup vegitable oil instead of the 1 and a 1/4 cup of butter.
I used just a pinch of salt instead of 1 tsp
I used 1 cup of Guittard Milk chocolate chips "in the silver bag at cub foods" I think they taste the best for milk chocolate chips. You may want to use 3/4 cup instead for your own batch.
After mixing everything together it was more of a granola type texture. So I added about 1/4 cup of milk give or take which bonded it much better into a cookie consistency. They will still be crumbly"ish" so just mold them together on the pan.
