What bars in town have pool tables that might not be super busy on a Saturday night? Any suggestions?

Your best bet to get on a table would be Lucky's In Superior.
You rent the table by the hour.
I haven't been there in a long time so I cannot vouch for it's busyness, but when I used to go, it never got overly busy.

Horseshoe Billiards might be an option. Right off Superior street at 25th ave West.

P.S. Bring your camera and tripod and do .5 or 1 second exposures of the breaks.

what about the Lakeview Castle. I'm no regular but i would assume their bar doesn't get too busy.

Actually, UMD game room has pool tables, and knowing UMD it might be awfully quiet there on a Sat night. (course there is no beer, but depending on your specific intentions it might work)
