My source says that April 22, 23, 24 are supposed to be great Aurora nights. You can bet I'll have a camera and tripod ready for these nights.

If the activity number is a 4 or higher, there is a real good chance we can see the auroras in Minnesota on a clear night. Anything higher and it is almost definite.

Tomorrow night looks to be the best. The level is 4+ and it is supposed to be a clear night.

Looks partly cloudy for Wed and Thurs.

Did you look at the link I posted?

A great starting point is ISO800 30 seconds Widest Aperture lens you have.

After 30 seconds the stars will move and look like blobs.

Oh, get far away from town as possible. Light Pollution makes seeing them almost impossible.

I shot mine in the middle of no where. This is one of the most important aspects.
