I have to take some pics of my fiances mothers Jack Russel on Thursday so he can be entered in some sort of race. My question is what would be the best color for a back drop to use. I havent done portraits of any kind before, so I dont really know. He is white and brown. My guess would probably be black?

Also, I was wondering if anyone had a single umbrella setup I could possibley use for a day? Im willing to barter a pair of free pizzas for anyone trusting enough...................my eBay feedback is 100%, LOL. I need to get one for myself sometime soon.

What would you recommend? Also, how does one attach the strobe? My mount is proprietary to Sony and Minolta cameras, if that makes a difference.

Are you using Cactus receivers? If so you will be fine.

I would think the brolly would work just fine. it is like a medium-large softbox.
