The Century Project is a series of nude photographs of various women from the moment of birth to 100 years old. It's at Scholastica this week only.

OMG! Does that mean there is pictures of naked, dirty, human flesh between the lllegal ages of 18 & that ambigous age where baby butts can no longer be used in diaper & skin lotion commercials and not be considered lewd? I'm so offended at this!

Not really, but why can I see some prudes getting worked up over such a thing? I'll probably go check it out.

I've been to Scholastica about twice. Any info on the hours this exhibit is open for, and where it is located?

I'm going to stop by and check out the exhibit at lunch. I'll try to get the hours nailed down then.

From www.css.edu/x22157.xml

"This exhibit will be open to the CSS community exclusively."

Does that mean we have to use you as a chaperone?

If they will allow us CSS'ers to bring guests I can bring people in with me too.

Shoot. I didn't see that. I will ask.

The exhibit is very interesting and quite powerful. The statements of the women involved and the photographer's own comments make the project. Some of the women he photographed and then photographed again 10 or 15 years later.

If anyone would like to come by and check it out after I get off work, I'm pretty sure I can sneak 2 or 3 people in this evening. The exhibit closes at 7 PM, so we could go from 4:30 to 7.

I can probably go during work as well, if that is better. My employer is very concerned about being part of its community, so I'm sure they won't mind if I take an hour to show this exhibit to a few friends. I have a meeting from 12:45 to 1:45, so I can't go then.

The photographer, Frank Cordelle, actually tours with his work and is sitting there the whole time.

Finally, this exhibit has a very quiet and respectful tone. While the content is quite provocative, it might be best to wait until after viewing to discuss. This is based on my first viewing -- we can play it by ear.

Let me know!

I'm definitly interested if you can get me, and one other in. We wouldn't be able to get up there till about 5:30, but if that works, we're interested.
