You may want to check.
This is one of the reasons I purchased my Pentax K10D.
it allows for some real nice looooooooooong exposures at night.

o.. you need to use a shutter cord for long exposures, I've always wondered how you do them. Well, another thing to buy.

Generic brand sutter release cables can be had for about $10 on ebay.

or, set the camera to bulb mode, set something on top of the shutter button and put a rubberband around the grip and over the thing you put on the shutter button.
Good temporary fix as long as you don't shake the camera too much.

if canon makes remote shutter realeases it's way easier casue you can just push the button once to open the shutter and then keep it open as long as you want then push it again to close it

you can basically go as long as your battery lasts

I think I'm going to get a remote one, I found one for $30, generic, but should work. I'll just have to wait two weeks to get it from HongKong
