New group -- Liquor Signs! www.flickr.com/groups/liquorsigns/

Let's keep everyday vintage cups, glasses and kitchenware down to a minimum, because they are too common, and could easily hold tea, or some other beverage. Glassware and other kitchenware for coffee with unusual and interesting printing that references coffee in the print job is ok... I'm going to keep very few coffee pots, since the pool is really more about printed advertising, packaging, and the like...

Group Description

Please join my new pool glorifying VINTAGE coffee product - the vintage ads, product and package designs for coffee and its lesser brother, coffee substitute... these ads can be pretty hilarious, as they glorify this hearty drink, and denounce the evil CAFFEIN, Mr. Grumpy, and other zombies of caffeine overexposure. (Creamers and other directly coffee-related products are also ok).

Circa 30s-50s (give or take a few decades, or so). Photos (or scans) should be taken by you from your own collections of ephemera (not from other people's web pages). Interested in VINTAGE representations, not current packaging, fine art or photos of coffee...

Group Rules

Welcome to all your Vintage coffee-related advertisements, packaging, signage, and other vintage coffee ephemera -- must be 80s or earlier, only. Think mid-century or thereabouts.

Contemporary shots of your favorite cafe, coffee art, your coffee, coffeepickers in Brazil, and other non-vintage, non-coffee images will be removed, and you will have to rejoin the group after reading the group rules and description. Thanks!
