Group Description

MSC is about cupcake love, freedom, and community. Our goal is to make and bake the 175 cupcake recipes in Martha Stewart's Cupcakes book. Even though it is a monthly effort, we have bonus challenges to accelerate the primary goal.

All of our members are dedicated, talented, and share the same sentiment: our appreciation for Martha Stewart and of course, CUPCAKES!

Group Rules

1. You must own the Martha Stewart's Cupcakes book.

2. You must have a blog so we can track your bake-alongs.

3. Maintain and Be Active.

Please try to bake along with us every month. All blog postings are due at on the 15th of every month and MUST NOT include the actual recipe.

Currently there is a waitlist. If you cannot partake with a monthly challenge, please let me know beforehand via email. If you do not correspond and have not committed to two consecutive cupcake challenges, your membership will be terminated. No exceptions.

4. Provide Feedback to other Members.

Since it's a blogging community, I STRONGLY encourage you to nurture and support your other MSC blogging friends by visiting their blogs and providing feedback on their MSC results. I recommend 10 comments. However, the more, the merrier! You will find the blog roll at mscclub.blogspot.com.

5. Be creative

Some of MSC's recipes are intense. For example, the Ladybug Cupcakes on page 171 can be laborious. So be creative. Use red candy instead of marzipan. In other words, don't be intimidated, just be creative. This is YOUR interpretation of the recipe. MSC is about cupcake challenges, not a beauty contest. Cupcake freedom!

5 rules. Simple as that. I don't want it complicated.
