Neon Michael ADMIN May 23, 2017
Hey there, Carload Flickr photo pool drive-in enthusiast people! Your help is needed and appreciated for Carload.com's virtual drive-in-a-day odyssey event. In 2017, we'll virtually visit every one of North America's 368* active drive-ins. (*370 if you count the Cinema 2 in Manistique MI, and the Moonlite in Abingdon VA, which were briefly active in 2016.) Please keep those photos coming, and thanks always for your help.
This group discussion is for members only.
Group DescriptionCarload celebrates drive-in movie theaters, concentrating on active North American drive-ins but sometimes taking a look at theaters that are overseas or closed or both.
This group's members contribute photos for each other to enjoy, and to use as illustrations on Carload.com's drive-in news and movie listings.
A lot of drive-in theaters have theatre in their name, so I'd better include that in case that's what you're looking for.
Group RulesBy posting photos in this pool, you agree to license your photo on a non-exclusive, worldwide, transferable basis to Neon Jukebox for use on carload.com. You also authorize us to include your photo when we distribute the Carload blog content to third parties (e.g., via feeds to other web sites). You retain all rights in your photo, including the copyright.
This is a family-friendly group, so please post only photos that would be okay for kids to view. We need to get the next generation excited about drive-ins as much as we are.
All pictures will get attribution in the form of your Flickr user name. That name will get linked back to the source image on Flickr.
If you want to specify your attribution, please do so in your photo's description.
By posting, you agree to let us make derivative works, which includes resizing, cropping, changing brightness/contrast, cutting and pasting, overlaying text, etc, or otherwise adjust photos for publication, based on our aesthetic preferences, and using our editorial discretion.
A big shout out to The Consumerist, a great non-profit organization that worked out these sensible group rules. For fun consumer news that's almost as good as drive-in news, visit Consumerist.com.
