Scopict? you have got to be sh###in me!

Of all the cameras, your dream camera would be a Holga?

a pretending old camera, for people who are not old enough to remember old cameras and dont want to buy a 'real' old camera(which would probably be a million times better):-)

Rolleiflex 2.8F, and a working and reliable Leningrad rangefinder!
Meanwhile, I have got a set that I really like.
(5D and 40D with some nice lenses). Fair enough.

A Canon F-1 New (or alike) with a fullframe sensor, so I can use my lovely FD lenses on a digital camera, without adapters.

robert capa's leica 2 lol or was it a leica 3?
Paul K.J. Harris 8 years ago
Rolleiflex 6008 integral 2, but no one camera does it all so I would like a variety of professional cameras to do different things with them. There is no such thing as a perfect camera. I also want a Nikon F6 and/or the replacement for the Nikon D700.

Btw: I'm getting that "Rollei" 6008 i2 - I didn't realize it but I waited 43 years to get one. I'm lucky - I (probably) get to fulfill this dream.

I've been lucky enough to have had a fair bit of cool stuff (and hardly spent any cash on it).
Right now I'd love an M9 and all the summiluxes or or perhaps, keep shooting a Film M and have an assistant to run to the lab and man a high end scanner like a Hasselblad flextight.

Although after spending last week at Panavision I was thinking an Arriflex 235 plus a full set of Zeiss Masterprimes would be a fun little combo to make home movies with, to bad that set-up would be approaching half a million euros.

My Camera dream would be for my wife to shut her piehole about all of my cameras!

My camera dream would be to finally be content with those I own and not read a thread then go "I need to get some of those".
I have come closer to my veeeeery long dream list by getting the 5D some months ago.

My present skyhigh dream is this:

Leica M9 with
- LEICA TRI-ELMAR-M 1:4/16-18-21 mm ASPH.
- LEICA SUMMILUX-M 1:1.4/35 mm ASPH.
- LEICA SUMMILUX-M 1:1.4/50 mm
and perhaps a

Still that would cost more than an average car. 8-0

I posted to here 7 months ago. Since then I haven't really changed my mind... much. I still want that "Rollei" but the truth is that my camera dream is to have any camera available to me that I'm really interested in even if it is just to try it out. I currently have 12 cameras but sometimes I don't buy a camera because its a Nikon, etc., I recently bought an Imagetech 3D Trio camera - why? - because its hard to find anything else like it and it only cost $12 at a thrift store! I also have the Nishika N8000 which is similar but not the same. To me it is fun to try all different kinds of cameras and no one camera is good for everything. Try using a 4x5 camera for shooting sports. You can do it but do you really want to when a 10 fps camera makes more sense? Use the right camera for the right job, go have fun taking pictures and don't worry about what other people think. If you think a Kiev 60 TTL is the cat's meow go ahead and use yours (and yes, I have one!).
Not a dream anymore:

Hey, Nicholas Gray, The Kookie Kamera you covet is mine. I do love it but the cameras I dream about can't even make a photograph! There are several models of the camera obscura (drawing camera) that we really NEED for our collection. Since I never buy a lottery ticket and I don't have any rich relatives to leave us money I can not afford the few that become available.

Also if someone offered me a daguerreotype camera I would not kick it to the curb. ;-)

A mint (actually, not mint, wouldn't stay like it for long tbh) Black Nikon F1, with a selection of the quality lenses. Eyelevel viewfinders, metered and non-metered. Accompanied by a 50mm f1.4, 180mm f2.8, 24mm (of some kind) and an 85mm f-something. All genuine, vintage nikkor of course.

With free film and processing of course...

I'm already a little embarrassed by the number of toys in my toy box. But I'm also obsessed with wide-angle vistas, both square and long panoramas. Hence my two choices, a Hasselblad SWC (any of the series) and a swing lens panoramic camera like a Noblex, Widelux or Horizon.
