Group Description

This is a group for Flickrites interested in making their own photo book using Blurb.com. The group is a channel for sharing photos, book covers, questions, answers, ideas and information.

To keep the photo group focused on the actual printed, tactile books please ONLY post photos or videos OF YOUR BOOKS... books in context, holding your books, close-ups and even your monkey looking at your book of a monkey looking at a book.

This group is moderated, and photos will typically be accepted within 24 hours Monday-Friday, and less frequently on the weekends.

Blurb, Inc. is the leading publish-on-demand photo book company serving the online world from headquarters in San Francisco. Blurb.com provides free PC and Mac compatible BookSmart software that makes it easy for you to design and lay out a high quality coffee table photo book full of your own photos and text. When your book is all complete on your computer, you can print a local copy to check for typos and other problems, then publish it online to Blurb.com and pay for your book order by credit card. Less than two weeks later UPS will deliver to your door a "bookstore quality" hard or soft cover coffee table book full of your photos, and with your name on the cover. Trust us, it's a thrill!

This group exists because it's fun to turn your Flickr photo stream into a book, and it 's fun to share information, ideas and experience between those who have made a book with Blurb and those who want to try it for the first time. Also, some Blurb staffers (known as Blurberati) help run the group to provide answers to your questions, provide news about new developments, and generally provide some energy and support. Welcome Blurbarians and friends!

Membership in this group is open to all Flickr members. If you're interested, please join us!
