What gear do you use? (just out of curiousity)

I don't do much bird photography, so I have a Rebel XSI with an 18-55 and a 55-250.

I don't have a powerful flashy camera with a powerful zoom. I could never afford one. I was given an Olympus c-770 and I use it to try and capture the things I love. like birds in the wild. Still learning basically. :)

For birds I am using a Canon T2i with a 600mm f4L IS USM Prime this also works for insects sometimes, although a fairly unwieldy lens at about 14lbs with monopod and boday attached the results are worth the effort.
I use a Nikon D5000. I love the almost film like quality this camera gives to my shots.

I use a Canon 550 D and Tamron zoom 70/300 or Canon 55/250.

Last year I acquired a Canon EOS 5D MarkII. The full-format sensor allows considerable cropping without loss of quality.
