Group Description

This group was created for members of BirdsCaribbean (formerly the Society for the Conservation and Study of Caribbean Birds (SCSCB)) and other interested persons to share photographs of our conferences, workshops, Caribbean Endemic Bird Festival (CEBF) or International Migratory Bird Day (IMBD) activities, book launchings and other events. If you attended our recent meeting in Grenada (July 2013) please post your best photos here so that others can view and enjoy them and order prints if they wish. You are welcome to share your bird photographs here, but we encourage you to post them also on Neotropical Birds, another Flickr group: www.flickr.com/groups/neobirds/

Post bird photos to help folks learn bird identification to Caribbean BIrd ID - Monitoring: www.flickr.com/groups/1604677@N24/

Please take a moment to lable/tag your photos with the name of the activity or event, organization or institution, location where the photo was taken and the date. We request that you grant permission for us to use your photos on our website (www.BirdsCaribbean.org) or powerpoint presentations about activities of the organization, thereby helping us in our mission to conserve the birds of the Caribbean and their habitats through science, education, capacity building and conservation action.

Group Rules

This group was created for members of BirdsCaribbean (formerly the Society for the Conservation and Study of Caribbean Birds (SCSCB)) and other interested persons to share photographs of our conferences, workshops, Caribbean Endemic Bird Festival (CEBF) or International Migratory Bird Day (IMBD) celebrations, birding trips, birds, and other events. If you attended our recent meeting in Grenada (July 2013) please post your best photos here so that others can view and enjoy them and order prints if they wish. You are welcome to share your bird photographs here, but we encourage you to post them on Neotropical Birds, another Flickr group dedicated specifically to bird photographs: www.flickr.com/groups/neobirds/

Please take a moment to tag your photos with the name or a description of the activity or event, organization or institution, location where the photo was taken, scientific and common name of any bird photos, photographer's name, and the date. By contributing to this group, you are granting permission for BirdsCaribbean (a non-profit member-supported organization) to use your photos on our website (www.BirdsCaribbean.org), educational materials or powerpoint presentations about activities of the organization, thereby helping us in our mission to conserve the birds of the Caribbean and their habitats through science, education, capacity building and conservation action. If we would like to use your photos for any other purpose, we will contact you first to request permission.

We welcome all photos but please select your BEST photos to post here (avoid duplicate takes of the same subject). Please put your photos into albums and title them with the event, location and date, so that they will be organized by event.
