Group Description

NEW theme! 'Superhighways in London and Copenhagen'

The opening of Copenhagen's superhighways in 2012 seem to have generally been met with a more positive reaction than London's four cycle superhighways, the first of which opened in 2010. Four more are planned in 2013, with a further two by 2015.

To get a better sense of how the two city's superhighways compare – and to give a idea of what they do or don't contribute to road safety – we'd like you to share your photographs.

Welcome to the Flickr group for the Guardian's bike blog - here we invite our readers to submit general cycling photography.

This group is run by Adam Vaughan who looks after the Guardian Bike Blog with Peter Walker and James Randerson. You can contact us by messaging the Guardian on Flickr, writing a discussion post or tweeting @guardianeco.

Every so often, we set a different theme related to a something we're looking at in the news - and the theme will be changed in the name of this group and in the alert above the group description.

This group isn't a way to contact our picture desk or submit pictures if you are a photographer and would like to work for the paper - you can contact the picture desk directly by tweeting them @GuardianPhotos or to www.guardian.co.uk/help/contact-us

We'll feature some of our favourite portfolios and pictures from the group on guardian.co.uk and maybe in other formats, e.g. our newspapers. By posting your pictures here you a) acknowledge that you have created the pictures or have permission to do so; and b) grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, free licence to publish your pictures as described. Copyright resides with you and you may reuse your pictures however you wish. You will be credited and paid if we make other uses of your pictures. It would also help us if you make the pictures downloadable in case we use them in a Guardian gallery.
