Its about the tight, erotic coverage for a long thin neck. It links to light bondage, sub, collars. It feels good and more excited it is when seen on a lady. Its is same time a common clothing style and a hidden secret thing whicj increases its excitement. The thinner, tighter and higher the collar is - the better.

I would love to write about turtlenecks woth any similarly interested woman. So if you reading this, feel this excitement and are not a male - pls drop me an email.

It is about how it looks certainly,it is tough, sharp and elegant. But it is also about how it feels;having a tight collar around your neck is a very exciting feel, very sexy, slightly arousing and yes-erotic i would say.Love seeing women in tight and really high t-collars-just find it very sexy and exciting!

I couldn't agree with you more! I would rather see a turtleneck on a woman, that a v-neck. the tight feeling around the neck is soo arousing. I don't know why though!! I agree how it links to bondage and collars. I just don't know why i have the attraction? I've heard that fetishes can branch from a childhood experience. The ironic thing is, as a child I hated wearing long sleeves and especially turtlenecks. And now...I love them...and especially on women.

Well it is clearly a fetish but that is great-that is what clothes and fashion should be about! As you, i hated wearing turtlenecks as a child-i guess i started liking them because of the feeling of the collar around the neck it hints that there is something more-more about how it looks and i just started to love their appearance and style and started getting excited how women looked in them.Started wearing turtlenecks myself and wanted to have the collars tight and high, just loved the feeling and how it looked. It is a sexy feel in a way.It perhaps links a bit to bondage and collars but beeing a lot less kinky and perverse and with great style. And women just look fantastic in them!!

I do not remember exactly of when I started to feel turtleenecks as a fetish items, somewhere around 20 yrs old it was. many years I only dreamed seelin girls wearin that, later I started to buy and wear them myself also. Trying to find thinner, tighter, higher collar versions etc. Hot for me is if
- the collar is unfolded all the way up, also collar on face is huge sexy
- tneck and braless is an excellent combination
- tneck and making love same time is super erotic

Its soon autumn here in scndinavia and already now shops are showingt autumn clothes. I have seen already some new tnecks in department store, soon girls are wearing them again. It is so exciting.

I would love to meet a girl or lady who feels them same way. Is there any such?

Hi Dave, I'm with you. The thinner the turtleneck the better & it must be firm aroound the neck. I have been wearing turtleneck since i was a little girl. When i was a child they where part of my school uniform. When i left school & went out into the big world i noticed that guys liked seeing me in my turtlenecks. I wear them basically everyday. They are great under my motorcycle leathers, thin but warm. They look great in the office & can be worn out on the town at night. They look smart, sophisticated & can be errotic. I feel women look better in them, but a gut with a nice chest & shoulders can look so Handsome. I think that they Sihlouette the body which can give the feeling of seeing the body underneath but the T'neck is a barrier. I have had sex wearing them & they did enhance the feelings as i felt so much sexier wearing them & my partner at the time was going crazy on me. Being tied up also is fun.
As for the size of the neck. Longer the better but scrunching looks so much hotter than folding neatly.

Silvia.Turtleneck [deleted] says:

My parental education was strict and conservative. I used to live with my grandparents until the age of 8. My parents were mostly in the US at that time as my father was taking part in a scientific exchange programme. When my grandmother died, my parents decided to return to Europe and raise me up further. My mother was a rather conservative lady with a strict etiquette. When I returned to my parents, I was told that from that moment on it was time for me to behave and dress like a proper, conservative lady. My parents did not want me to walk around half-naked or show any kind of skin; therefore my mother insisted that I started wearing high and tight turtlenecks with my whole chest and neck completely covered – the same as she did. I had never worn any turtlenecks when I had been living with my grandparents and I still remember the first time I was forced into one, an awesomely tight and ribbed, striped sweater with a sky-high, woollen collar which I could hardly get over my head. Even with three times folded, the collar still tipped my chin and choked me badly. I wanted to take off the sweater immediately, but my mother insisted I kept it on. She just mentioned that this was a nice fit and I should get used to the feeling as I would be wearing this kind of clothes from now on. Since then, I had to wear turtlenecks day-in and day-out, regardless whether it was winter or summer. My friends also wore turtlenecks sometimes, but I was wearing them all the time and my collar would always be the highest and most tightly fitting one, my mother would make that sure. In the beginning, I hated the feeling of being choked all day long by an itchy and stiff collar, but when I became a teenager, this feeling started to stimulate me sexually. These days, I don’t want to miss this feeling any longer: no turtleneck can be high and tight enough, I’m always on the search for an even better one, and I have a very supportive husband who shares my fetishes as he has been raised similarly. I am the senior office manager of a branch with a staff of around 50 people, half male, half female. As I wish our company to appear professionally and conservatively in public, I pushed though a strict dress code some years ago. For women it is (regardless of the season) in combination with a suit jacket: either a high and tight, non-chunky turtleneck or a strictly buttoned-up blouse with bow-tie. Amazingly, most of the girls and women choose a turtleneck, even in summer. The young girls tend to wear short-sleeved turtlenecks in summer whereas the senior females wear long-sleeved turtlenecks all year long. In the beginning, there was some resistance against the dress code, especially amongst the juniors, but now everyone has accepted it.

I have a vast collection of turtleneck sweaters, roughly 150, mostly merino wool or polyamide. My preferred colours are autumn coulours like brown, beige, yellow. The minimum collar length of all turtlenecks is 25cm, that's what I look at when I'm buying them: I wish to be able to fold the collars three times and still feel them tipping my chin. My favorite brand is ZARA, you get amazing turtlenecks there. The designers seems to know how to dress a girl elegantly and choke her badly.

I’ve seen and heard so many examples of what the “strict and proper” turtleneck should look like and how it should be worn. I guess I am a little confused and would rather see some examples than hear about them. I think maybe some people here that are very knowledgeable in this area should post some pictures of THEMSELVES in their high and tight apparel and show us how its done? What do you say? :-)

Silva, thank you for sharing and I am very interested. Could you tell us more about the office dress code? Do you require a sweater weight turtleneck (as opposed to a cotton tn that would be considered a shirt)? And are the ladies required to wear their suit jackets at all times buttoned up? Are they allowed to wear pants or only skirts? And must they wear pantyhose or stockings? I'm sorry for so many questions.

Also Silvia, can you tell us more about growing up with your parents? Did you ever fight with your mother about wearing a turtleneck? Starting to wear turtlenecks at 8 years old, you must have put up some fights. What would you say to her? What would she say to you? Did you have to sleep with a turtleneck on too?
91 months ago (permalink)

Silvia.Turtleneck [deleted] says:

Dear friends,

@ trish10000t: The office dress code specifies the material of the turtlenecks as "non-cotton" and requires the collar to cover the neck completely with a proper fit. Most girls wear Merino, Cashmere or synthetic fibres. Jackets are required to be worn at all times but are not required to be buttoned up. There are no further specifications on pants or skirts. Nonetheless, the juniors tend to wear skirts with stockings during the warmer seasons.

@ myden101: My mother was a strict lady who did not tolerate any disobedience. Of course, I had some fights with my mother on my clothing in the very beginning, but I gave it up at some time. I sometimes complained that my collar was too tight or uncomfortable, and my mother usually answered that life is not about comfortness, but about a proper attitude. She hated it when I touched my collar: in that case I could be sure that I would receive a slap into my face and my collar being rearranged nicely under my chin. I never had to sleep in a turtleneck sweater.

I have to speak out here and I don’t mean to sound rude, but I have NEVER heard of a business enforcing such a specific dress-code to fit one persons preferences. Usually businesses do enforce a dressy or casual-dress code but do not get down to specifics as to which materials and collar lengths must be worn. That is to say certain people that did not wear a (non-cotton and tight collar) turtleneck everyday could risk losing their job? Restrictions like these only work in the case of uniforms or violation of a pre-existing policy. That’s almost like saying “I am Catholic, so only Catholic people can work here.” That would never pass through corporate management for ONE person! Why, because that’s discrimination! And the fact there is no strict dress code for men would further this dispute. This would invite so many lawsuits. No matter where you are from, that is a personal attack of a persons civil rights.
Plus I don’t see why you would want or need people in your business to all dress according to YOUR lifestyle and YOUR fetish? What’s the point? I understand creating a professional environment, but this is forcing your own personal views on your employees for no other reason than your own satisfaction. Again, I don’t mean any disrespect, but this sounds quite far fetched to someone like me who has worked in a strict office environment before.

Have you ever worn a turtleneck sweater dress? Do they complain about wearing them? or are they into wearing turtlenecks as well?

When you where growing up what did you tell your friends when they saw you wearing turtlenecks everyday?!!

Did your mother ever make you wear two or three turtlenecks at once? how did it feel if you have?

hello to all of you who are participants in this group! thank you lars for those nice commments, and i am happy that my photostream is enjoyed by all! i just want to say , that i agree with SQ on many things she said, and also i want to expalin how i started with this fetish of turtlenecks! it started back when i was younger, around 8 or 9, and the winters up northern USA are pretty brutal sometimes! my mother was a very over protective woman, so she made sure i was always wrapped up in the winter! she had 2 other children besides me, i was the first born and only son, so she really tried all things out on me first! well, she would but only polymid, or starchy kind of turtlenecks, this was late 70's early 80''s , so it was always in style, but i never liked them then , i was forced into them! so of course she would buy a jacket that had a zip up collar also, so it made it seem like i had a posture collar on sometimes! lol! well, anyway , ahe would put these turtlenecks on me, and i would complain about the choking feeling, and that i had to swallow all the time, and she would just tell me not to touch the collar, and pull it down, or i would be grounded! or worse, spanked! so, needless to say i got used to them, then abotu the time i reached my teen age years, i was wearing them even in the spring time up north! and i felt a sensual side about it! i loved the feeling of something tight around my neck, and started getting into other neck fetishes! i'm not blaming it all on my mother, becuse i can make my own decisions on what i like and dislike, but she definitely started me in on the discipline of having to wear whats not comfortable, just whats needed to stay warm! but obviously i kept wearing them regardless if it was cold or not! and even to this day, i wear all the time! what i like to do is wear a high and tight t-neck when i'm going for the mail box in the summer, it turns heads all the time! lol! well, i want to thank all of you who post, and keep posting, there are lovely high t-collars to be had on camera!

If you read Silva's post, you will see that women in her office may choose between a turtleneck and a buttoned up blouse with a bow tie. So they are not forced to wear turtlenecks, they choose to, and they are permitted to wear something similar to men.

Sweater Queen says:

How many woman (or men for that matter) do you know wear a bow-tie to work? Of course the women are going to wear turtlenecks! It's the more feminine choice!

Regardless, my original point still stands that such a specific dress-code would never be approved this day in age.
And when a strict dress-code is involved... yeah, you pretty much are "forced" into wearing what the policy states or you lose your job. So in this case of strict dress-code, if a woman does not own at least 5-6 non-cotton turtleneck sweaters that must fit snuggly against the chin or button-up blouses with bow-ties, then they are either fired or have to go out and buy a whole new wardrobe.

I could understand all this if we were describing a “Fantasy Workplace” but in the real world things are not broken down to such specifics according to the views and styles of one person who admittedly is not even in a position of the company to make or approve of such a requested dress-code.

@Klatino: I appreciate you being who you are inside and out. Thank you for sharing your story with us!

incollar says:

I had a fascination that started long ago as a child whenever I saw a magician's assistant restrained. Always wondered what they were thinking as they allowed that to happen to them. It grew to a general fascination with outfits that people considered uncomfortable or restrictive, especially high collars. I always noticed people's comments, and I wondered why the person "wanted" to wear it in public. I stumbled on clothing from the early 1900s, learned a lot, and was especially fascinated with the required outfit of a corset, high and stiff collar, and heels. Finally I got courage to start trying my own things and definitely noticed that modern-day styles still included things like high turtlenecks, tight skirts, high heels, and even corsets. To this day, I have a fascination for posture-enforcing outfits and love the idea of being restricted by my outfit. So does my husband.

Turtlenecks were an easy thing to try. So many people think the high collar of a turtleneck is torture, even in cold weather. The first time I saw a sleeveless style I almost couldn't believe that you were supposed to wear a high collar in the hot summer. I wondered why designers made the things they did for women. But I noticed a fair number of people wore them so I got my own.

I love a high turtleneck with just enough structure in the collar to really be felt. I like how the collar reminds me (sometimes even forces me) to keep my chin up and my neck straight. I get a little thrill from people thinking I'm being tortured by my clothing. I'll definitely wear short-sleeved and sleeveless styles in the summer. Sometimes I'll wear two turtlenecks in colder weather, especially if the outer sweater is a thick wool fabric. When asked about that, sometimes I'll say the second turtleneck is the price I pay in order to save on dry cleaning. Actually, I love the extra stiffness of the layered collars. Other times, I enjoy wearing a silk scarf wrapped around my turtleneck collar and knotted snugly. It draws attention to my neck and also adds to the high, stiff feeling of the collar. That is a great dressy look with a sleeveless style.

Transitional seasons are great. Mornings can be cold but afternoon temps can still get hot, especially in the sun. Those are great days for wearing a long sleeved high turtleneck. You get warm and have to fight the urge to fidget with your collar. Sometimes a friend will offer "sympathy" for your predicament of trying to dress for the cold morning, or air conditioning inside, and then having to suffer when you're outside. It feels like all eyes are on you and people think you are trapped in your outfit and you must endure the discomfort.

I like challenging myself with an outfit, including skirt and heels, and sometimes even a corset and posture collar. My husband likes to have me wear outfits, especially on warm days, because he knows the effect it has on me and he likes to see me deal with it.

Thank you for your input!! I have the same fascination with women wearing tight fitting clothing!! I also looked into 1900 styles of outfits! I love corsets and posture collars!! hi all again!! great to hear from all of you!
@ Sweater Queen! ... i totally agree with you on the forced dressed code matter, i think it's all a fantasy thing made up in the mind! i don't want to dump on anyone, but i have to say this! if someone is not true to themselves about what thye are or what they like, then it's just a thought in their mind, but if they live it out, and are expressive about it, it becomes part of who they are in reality.. like you SQ, you take the pics of yourself, and some others here in the group who also express themselves by self portraits, thats the true seld pride of saying , "hey world, this is me!!" but i did check on "some" people saying things like , this is me in my tight turtleneck, and then posting another pic of them saying it was them wearing another t-neck, and it happened to be a totally different person. my point i'm making is just be happy with yourself, and don't be afraid to have "fetishes " of kinds, and different likes. it's part of who you are anyway, it makes us , us! and no one should have to make up fantasies or settings that make it sound better, we should keep it as real as possible. because thats where it really means something, when you can touch it, feel it, and live it!
thx for the love on my photostream,
sincerely Kevin

I,as i have said earlier just love turtleneck sweaters;how they look and also how they feel.I found it hard wearing turtlenecks when i was younger-this seems to be the case with most of us here in this group i think, but i loved the look of high turtleneck collars and the way they felt started to develop into something different.I started to really like the feeling of the collar round my neck.I am quite comfortable with having a really high and tight collar covering my neck.My first memories of how it started was when i was quite young.I remember on the cover on Canadian singer Helen Reddy. The album was I AM WOMAN from 1972 and on the cover she was wearing a tight ribbed turtleneck and i remember i was thinking how sexy she looked in it.I bought the album just because of she wearing the turtleneck on the cover!!So,this love or affection or even fetish we have developed for turtlenecks is just something we can enjoy and feel great about. This is who we are and we love to wear.I am wearig turtlenecks more often than ever before and do not hide the fact that i love turtlenecks for anyone! And i do think that a woman in a proper high and tight turtleneck is very sexy i just do,but i am starting to repeat myself now!!!Love to all of you in this forum!Lars

Hi Everyone, Firstly i would like to say that the photo's in my stream reflect what i love about Turtlenecks & wearing turtlenecks. Nowhere in my stream have i claimed to be the person in the turtlenecks. It would be hard because there are so many different people I'm extremely cautious of letting photos out onto the internet & will reveal myself to contacts as i get to know them. It is just a self protection thing.

I wear turtlenecks as much as possible, with work outfits, casual & when going out. Being a motorcyclist i like them under my leathers as they offer warmth & confort without bulk. They feel & look sexy. A place i worked at had uniforms & an option for the women was to wear a turtkeneck. I took that option but other options where long sleeved Tshirts & shirts. Some took different options but the uniform was not compulsory. People generally took it up because it was subsidised & had Tax benefits.

Here in Scandinavia the weather has turned into autumn in few days. Shops are showing their autumn clothing styles, people use more warm clothing. In few days I have seen many excellent turtlenecks wearing ladies and girls. I wonder if any of them can imagine or feel the link between that tight collar and sexuality.

Some weeks ago I was in down town waiting for my friend, people passing me by. One girl was exception, short skirt and light grey thin wool turtleneck, collar much higher and thighter than average. The day was hot and the contrast of hot weather and turtleneck was breath taking. I thought after seeing her, what she had thought when choosing her clothing for that hot summer day.

My favourite was the yellow thin ribbed turtleneck under a green V-neck sweater she wore in the episode Model Behaviour.

Ahhh yes...According to Jim is another favorite...Courtney and her Sister Kimberly both wear some very nice turtlenecks! Yes courtney does seem to wear them alot too!! I wonder if she requested the turtlenecks or if the tv crew made her wear them for her character!

Ever see the Grudge? Love Sarah M Gellar in that white chunky tneck. She wore some nice tnecks in her Buffy show too!

And then in the movie scary movie 4...where they spoofed the grudge scene...and Anna Faris is wearing a huge white turtleneck! Plus...The Deleted scene on the DVD of that scene of the turtleneck attacked her is wonderful!!!

@myden101:

Indeed, my mother made me wear turtlenecks all the time when I was a child and a teenager. As I said before, I hated turtlenecks in the very beginning. They were so unpleasant, choking and itchy. Yet my mother didn't care and didn't tolerate any disobedience - she always made me wear the collar up to the chin and if I complained too much about my clothing, I could expect to get an even higher and tighter turtleneck within the next few days. At some point I got used to wearing turtlenecks and in the end they became an obsession.

I don't think my mother is a cruel person at all - she has just been extremely conservative and strict. You need to see, she also wore turtlenecks all the time - and she wanted to make sure that her children are dressed in a proper manner. Of course, we are still in touch...

Azutos says:

I've given it tons of thought and I have no idea where my attraction to women in them started. Not the slightly clue, but the attraction is clearly strong enough to be called a fetish.

I never had any desire to wear one myself, but recently my fiance figured out I had this fetish. She obliged by buying a couple to make part of her commonly worn shirts.

As a side effect though she wanted to see me wearing one and once she did she loved how they looked on me. Within a couple of weeks she had bought me several of them. All thin material and tight chin pushers. Due to the "posture collar" feeling, I wasn't overly thrilled about wearing them. On top of that, I still think of them more as a woman's shirt than a guys, so I wouldn't wear them in public.

As "motivation", a couple of weeks when we were fooling around she quickly left a massive hickey on my neck. Purposely done so I'd have to wear them all week at work.

During that week I developed a love for how they feel and now my neck feels empty when not wearing one.

@Azutos: Sounds your girlfriend has a proper attitude towards you. I would do and actually do do the same with my hubby. He cheered very much about the latest turtleneck I bought which has an extremely high and tight collar - I will make sure he is going to wear something similar.

I also agree fully with Kirsten. Just be honest with her and tell her that you really like turtlenecks and girls wearing them. It can be casually --for instance, if you see a turtleneck-wearing woman passing by, you can comment on how nice a sweater like that would look on your gf-- or more directly if you are talking about sexual fantasies/fetishes (I guess at some point the conversation will take place), just go ahead and tell her how you feel. Be yourself and be frank, but also be tactful and respectful.

Hi....i'm quite new to this site...so here is why i got into t-necks. I remember when i was about 5 i loved seeing people with scarves over their mouths. I fantasized about having my own one so i could do it....surprise surprise there has one under the x-mas tree. So for a few years I was fanatical about scarves...until i looked on the back of an Argos catalogue...I saw a man in his mid 20s pulling a weird looking jumper over his mouth...I asked my mum what it was...she said it was a Polo Neck Jumper (Turtleneck). A week later I went to my Primary school (Pre-School) and saw most of the teachers wearing Polonecks. I asked and asked them some more to the whereabouts of the jumpers in stores. They ALL replied with Primark. Long story eh??

Anyway...I asked my granddad to get me a few for next x-mas. My wish came true and my fetish was born. I had 2 polonecks back then...a thick white one with an ENORMOUS collar and a thin red one...it was not high...but it was tight like f$%k...I couldn't breathe. I lost them both.

Years had passed since then... I was in 1st year at my high school, determined that my fetish was long dead.......was it hell!! I was in the provision for autistic pupils and the members of staff wore polonecks all the time....well one did regulary but then i was hooked on them again.

Oh to answer this topics question...........I have no idea what it is about t-necks that makes people hold the jumpers close to them.

Thank you for reading this...This was based on memory. I only still have 2 jumpers...I..WANT....MOOOOORE!!!!

Why do I like turtlenecks(or polo necks as I'm more used to calling them)?
Well;they are one aspect of a style of dress and appearance that I like. Most men seem to like women wearing the least amount of clothing possibe.I am rather the opposite,as you can judge from my photo favourites.
I don't see them as "punishment"clothing;rather as something warm and embracing.Personally I find wearing one, however tight or high, more comfortable than a collar and tie.I just think they look good-maybe their high collar and a persons hair gives a frame to their face-I don't know,it's a good thing we all have our personal tastes!
I suppose i have something of a heat clothing fetish, and I like to project it onto others.I like to be well wrapped up and a bit too warm.

Thats what my girlfriend does to me, even though I love wearing them...haha...and she wears them because I know i love when she wears them!!! She wears them almost all the time to work now. when we have time on the weekends.....we sometimes get together and we both wear turtlenecks we bought for each other or have gotten for ourselves.

I'll leave what we do on the weekends to your imagination...hint hint...lets just say she has worn them in bed...and also has a kinky side...haha....

Do you think weariing them in bed is crazy?!!! i love it!!! Although I do wake up in the middle of the night sweating..and i rip it off.haha...but i love cuddling and falling asleep in a tight constriction turtleneck

My girlfriend just tried on a latex full body catsuit. the ones with the turtleneck collar. Very sexy i might ad.
Plus she is also into those long opera gloves...the ones that go past your elbow. They look really nice with a sleeveless turtleneck

not ijnto latex myself, but man, you are one lucky dude.

The best turtlenecks are: skin-tight, with tight high collars, not too thick, slightly ribbed, long enough to cover the wrists and hips, soft smooth and stretchy, with a bit of spandex.... and the utlimate would be like the ones in my photo section - that go right down to the toes, with a split crotch for obvious reasons. They sold them in the 70s.

She also is looking online for victorian dresses. She loves the style of dress with the high collars and ruffles....of course. :) I always wondered why they made them so high back then...haha... Maybe them, it was the beginning of the idea of turtlenecks!

Turtlenecks are extrmely erotic. Someone once descibed it as being strangled by a weakling all day long--they constantly remind you they are on and when someone sees them you can tell there is an attraction or not.
Once, a female clerk saw me coming in wearing a high white TN and she instinctively grabbed at her neck. I interpreted her thought as "oh my, that TN looks so constricting...and cute!"

myden101 says:

@voegelin: First, very nice story! That is an interesting saying of a turtleneck is like being strangled by a weakling. In my opinion. I feel turtlenecks are both a sign of submission and dominance. Having that tight high feeling around the neck is like a sub would wear a collar. On the other hand, there's something about seeing a woman in a tight high form fitted turtleneck that makes them look "in control" if you will. In addition, so elegant, sexy and beautiful.
As far as the attraction goes, whenever I'm wearing a turtleneck I feel like its second nature for people to take notice and make a mental note that I'm wearing one. Whether they think, "wow thats hot." or "eww how could he wear that??"!! is hard to tell. yes sometimes it obvious either way though.
I remember a long time ago there was a girl I liked in class and I think she knew I liked her, especially when she came to school with a turtleneck on. I think she knew this because she would glance at me and smirk at me and rub her hand around her neck. Teasing me and she knew it! lol.

Guess my love of turtlenecks began in school, seeing other guys wearing them, particularly a guy in Algebra when I was 14. He acted like a tough guy and occasionally wore a black, gold or yellow TN with a vest. I couldn't keep my eyes off him--he looked so hot!
I wear a TN as often as possible at home, sometimes one on top of the other. And, as it is hot where I live sometimes I'll bring one to the movies or anyplace heavily air conditioned. I must have at least 40 TN's!

My experience and interest in turtlenecks worn by young women
starts in the early 80's when girls where into preppy fashion
there were a pretty good number of girls who dressed in layered look
a SKYR brand cotton t-neck where the collar is almost always never
folded over but worn scrunched this is the foundation the next layer
is a button cardigan or a crew neck sweater (mind you this is fall and
winter) The single most memorable in this group of turtleneck
wearing girls from where I worked in the early 80's was a 20 year old
petite blonde where this style of dress was a 'uniform' no fewer than 20 different colors or designs. One day she sported a powder/sky
blue long sleeve cotton T-NECKwith the collar unfolded and high and
tight on her neck next was the same long sleeve cotton T-Neck
this time in crisp white worn over the powder blue Turtleneck the effect of the white and blue collars the blue peeking out under the white both unfolded and scrunchy looking high and tight on her neck
reaching to under her ears usually a necklace hanging over the top of the collar and original fashion addition. Remember this is 1982 to 1985 she usually for color co-ordinating cotton spandex leggings
some times with a short skirt. the finishing touch is a retro navy blue
cardigan with buttons from the waist to the neck line giving the effect of the dual layered light blue and the white t-Necks sticking out from the
cardigan by the way that cardigan was either cashmere or cotton
she wore that cardigan either buttoned all the way to the top or
3 or 4 buttons from the top which gave her the different layered looks
I hope to participate in this FLICKR group and share experiences
with others
