Drag to set position!

Beck's Music Inspired Art ADMIN September 1, 2009
All the albums have now been claimed!

Anyone new to this page, you're still more than welcome to choose a album from the list and submit a cover, but we won't be updating the list with usernames. So get involved and pick whichever album you feel inspired by. And why not leave us a note in the "What's next" for Beck's Music Inspired Art discussion topic on where the project should go now?

Group Description

By now you've hopefully seen our "Music Inspired Art" project, and the 10 commissioned album covers from the pens and tablets of some of the UK's best artists.

Now we're opening up the project to you. The covers you've already seen were taken from a roll of 100, created by taking the top 25 from Pitchfork's "Album of the Decade" lists.

And now we've seen how good 10 of them look, we want to finish the set!

So the rest of the list is below. If you would like to submit a cover, just send us a message through Flickr claiming it, or use the forum post above, and we'll put your name next to the cover, and wait on your to upload it to the pool.

Please note, just because someone has already picked a cover, that doesn't mean you can't also choose it. It's just we'd like to get all 100 done!

This isn't a must, but it adds a lot more texture to your decision and work if there are around 100-200 words on why this album was chosen, how this music inspired you, the rationale behind the design and include mentions of other music which inspires you in your work.

Remember - this is music inspired art, not a challenge to see who could best remake the original cover!
