BBC Springwatch ADMIN January 26, 2010
Hope you all enjoyed the show. Just because it's over doesn't mean you should stop sharing your snowy wildlife photos. Just like you did for autumn and spring, the group is already well on the way to be a fantastic snapshot of UK nature at a particular point in time.

Now the unusual cold snap is over we've put premoderation on so that we can weed out non-snowy images. Please do keep adding your pictures from the Big Freeze of Dec 09 and Jan 10.

Thank you from all at Snow Watch!!

Group Description

Welcome to the BBC Snow Watch group.

As the whole of the British Isles faces up to what is now the coldest and “whitest” winter for decades, our wildlife is forced to endure huge challenges. As we struggle to cope, how does nature survive and adapt?

Show us what you've seen in this cold snap, whether it's out in the wild, or right on your doorstep.

Group Rules

1. Please only submit images taken in the big freeze of this winter - i.e. December 2009 and January 2010.

2. No people! This is about nature.

3. UK only please.

4. Three photos max per day.

5. It would be a shame if all those great photos we’re expecting couldn’t be displayed on BBC Online and even on the show itself (just as we did on Springwatch and Autumnwatch last year). After all, not everyone knows about Flickr.

That’s why we think it’s easier all round if we make it a rule that if you submit a photo to the group you’re automatically giving us permission to do this. If we do we’ll always let you know and credit you and the copyright will remain yours.

If you’re not happy with this then there are all sorts of other great Flickr groups out there that would be more than happy to display your photos without these restrictions.
