The official flickr group for Stargazing: Live and The Sky at Night, where we welcome viewers to submit their own shots of the night sky.This month's Sky at Night, 'Rosetta Update' web exclusive clips are available here. Next month we will report back with a special programme on NASA's New Horizon's flyby of Pluto. Watch it on the slightly later-than-usual date of Monday 20th July (BBC Four and BBC iPlayer).

This group exists to showcase the best astronomy images and help less experienced photographers find inspiration and guidance from the more accomplished. Please welcome members with all levels of ability.
Outstanding images from this group may be featured in BBC programmes, websites or magazines, and will be credited wherever possible. (See the rules for details).
Please tag each photo with subject and location.
You may also wish to include your camera settings.

Group RulesWe welcome your images of any astronomical objects, and the equipment used to view and photograph them. Scans of astronomical drawings are welcome for The Sky at Night and Stargazing Live.
Uploads are limited to ten images per day. Please keep the images to astronomy and related subjects. We will allow you to include people, but only in an astronomical context, for example with a telescope. We ask that you have permission from everyone in the image and it should not contain private information.
Admins will remove inappropriate material for the benefit of the group.
Please only submit your own original images. Any images submitted to this group may appear in BBC science productions, and by joining the group you give your permission for this.
By submitting your image(s) to this Flickr group you agree that the BBC can use the image(s) free of charge in BBC astronomy and science programmes for transmission anywhere in the world at any time now or in the future.
Your images(s) may also be used to publicise these programmes on BBC television, in the print media and/or on BBC websites.
You still retain all copyright and ownership rights in your photograph or image, and your name will be put on your image on broadcast wherever possible. If you require further clarification, please contact the group administrators.
