Hi all, to make it easier to find Britain's biggest spider for Chris, could you post your pics in this discussion. Arachnophobes please look away now!

To add a picture to the thread:
-Go onto the picture you want to add
-Above the picture where it says "actions" click the arrow on the right of the envelope, twitter and facebook symbols.
-There should now be a drop down box, copy everything in the box below where it says "Grab the HTML/BBCode" and paste this into the box at the end of the thread.

This spider is living in our bath at the moment - it is about the 4th so far this autumn (unless it is the same one coming back!).

This photo was taken in the late 80's in my parents house in Hampshire. I think spiders were bigger back then!
The house brick is 6.5cm across which makes the leg span (front to back) about 9.5cm! And the legs aren't even at full stretch!

This little monster terrorised me for 3days following me round the house, up & down the stairs, legging it round the livingroom and climbing on the furniture!!

I upload my photos to Photobucket and copy and paste the HTLM code into the 'Reply to this topic ' box. That works for me, although, if you upload your photos to your Flickr photostream page then there's probably a simpler way of showing them here.

This spider is next to a 2p coin!
I complained that my husband didn't get the 2p round the right way. He said "When you have a spider that big trying to chase you, you don't care which way round the coin is, take the picture and run!"

Hi I don't know how to post my picture on this page but if you click on my name it should POP up as It's the only picture I have on Flickr It's a picture of a little spider eating a big spider in It's web.
I also have a picture of a daddy longlegs eating a big spider. my little sister called the big spider harry she let it live in her room and one day when she went to check on him he was tangled up in the daddy longlegs's legs. Is this normal for a (daddy longlegs) don't know the correct name for this spider to eat a big spider??
I will try to up load the picture of this event.
