BaytownBert ADMIN January 7, 2010
This group is for members of the Art League of Baytown Photo Club and is free to join. It is here to provide a gallery for members to display and discuss their photographs. Constructive criticism is welcome.

Images which violate the Art League of Baytown's standards (no pornographic, lewd or demonic images) will be deleted by Admin. Please use good judgement in uploads, as we are trying to attract young aspiring photographers.

Please visit our Facebook page also - (Baytown Photo Club).

Group Description

This group is for the Baytown Photo Club to share their photos. All uploads must be safe for everyone and comply to the posting rules of the Art League of Baytown (must be in good taste for the viewing of both adults and children. I will not present items that may be construed as demonic, pornographic or lewd). A good rule of thumb is if the local newspaper would print it.

Maximum uploads - 7 per day per person.

The Baytown Photo Club is an auxiliary organization of the Art League of of Baytown in which all photo "buffs" are welcome. Participation of the public is invited and membership in the Art League is not required. Photographic abilities range from rank amateur to seasoned professional and equipment ranges from an iPhone to the fanciest SLR.

Every month there is a new assignment or challenge to meet with your photographs. Usually there is a group shoot scheduled at some interesting location where we all meet and see what kinds of interesting and beautiful pictures we can come up with. The next "assignment" and the next group shoot will be posted to the Photo Club calendar as soon as they are known.

The club meets monthly on the first Monday of each month at 6:30 pm in the Art Center unless otherwise noted in the calendar. Bring photos related to that month's "assignment." The Art Center has provided a wall where work is displayed for the ensuing month. Also, you are asked to donate $1 at each meeting to pay for our "wall rent" and defray utility costs.

You should check the Photo Club Calendar frequently for new activities. Also, check the links below or call the Art Center at 281-427-5365 for more details.
