PLEASE DO NOT POST A PHOTO TO THE POOL unless it is of a baby session setup or you have listed in detail below the picture the setup. Thank you
This group discussion is for members only.
Group DescriptionThis is a group to share how you took that amazing baby photograph. Please include any helpful tricks of the trade...posing, technique, props, lighting. Also, it's best to post the setup as well as the shot it produced.
I am new to flickr so please bare with me when it comes to doing all that it takes to create a group. I have found this topic very interesting and hope it helps everyone as well as myself.
Group RulesYou must post a photo of your baby session setup or have plans to soon. Please do not try and post any photo that is not of your session setup because it will be denied.
Also, you must participate in the group discussion. The whole purpose of the group is to learn from each other.
I will check your photostream as soon as you become a member. If you do not seem suitable for the group (i.e. inappropriate photography), I will delete you.
The group picture posting rules are changing slightly to accomodate those who do not have session set up pictures. Please do not stop posting session set up pictures! The pictures that are in the pool are WONDERFUL and are even better with a resulting image! So please try to get a set up shot, if you can, and post it with a resulting image.
For those who do not/are unable to get a session set up shot, you will need to have the following included in your image description in order to have the image posted to the pool:
* equipment information (camera (required), lighting (required, natural or light kit), backdrop material, backdrop stand (if you used these)
*Prop information ( beanbag/no beanbag (required), boppy/no boppy (required), if you used a prop from such websites as etsy, you may provide this information but is not required, noise maker)
* other helpful information that you can include but is not required would be camera setting information, age of infant, helpful information for readers, positions and how to get a baby in a position, ect.
If your image is not of a session set up and does not include the required information, your image will remain in the que and you will be informed to include the information needed. After a week, if the information is not included, the image will be removed from the que. This is strictly for those posting a final result image that is not of a session set up or does not include a session set up shot. If you provide a session set up, you are allowed a final result image from the set up shot provided.
Please understand that this is to help those who are unable to get a set up shot. Though we all enjoy the final image of a session, this group is called baby session setup and we must stick to these guidelines.
