* Georgia Harvey
Georgia Harvey trained and worked as an art conservator before taking up ceramics. She has a Bachelor of Fine Art (Painting) obtained from RMIT University in 1993 and a Graduate Certificate in Art History and a Master of Arts in Materials Conservation obtained from the University of Melbourne in 2003 and 2006. In her ceramic work, she hand-builds and burnishes clay forms and subjects them to low-firing methods such as raku and pit firing, taking glazes to their limits as an aesthetic device. She has participated in a number of solo and group exhibitions in Victoria and Tasmania and was a finalist in the 2013 Clunes Ceramic Award. Also in 2013, she made a range of raku vessels for US design store, tenover6. Her mark is recorded in JAC 53/3 as a cursive 'GH' in a circle and she also uses an incised 'GOH'.
