During a recent gastrointestinal illness( among other treatments) I used oregano oil for its high rating as an antibacterial and anti fungal essential oil. So as not to ingest this directly, bypassing esophagus, I came up with the idea of injecting it into another vitamin or capsule. I chose a probiotic capsule, measured out 2 drops of oil and used a hypodermic needle ( from the local farm and feed store) and inserted it into the capsule. The probiotic soaked it up great, I didn't even know it was in the capsule. I healed quickly. Has anyone else done this or would like to comment. Having worked with essential oils for twenty years, I did give this allot of thought.
