Liberty Natural Products has an incredible list of oils available, from tiny sample sizes to larger bulk size. Good prices too (BTW, no I don't work for them ;) Check it out! www.libertynatural.com/

I don't buy over the internet so I don't have any links. Neals Yard is probably the best retailers in the UK. I have just read an email telling me that they will be discontinuing sandelwood (santalum album),from their stocks because the trees are threatened species. Chrissie Wildwood, the aromatherapy author has been campaigning for this for some time, aparrently. Here are the messages:

Another place I buy my oils from is either from my college or a place called Woodlands Herbs, where I can buy loose tea etc as well...

You can use amyris as a sub for sandalwood, but its not quite as fabulous and sultry, I don't think. Better than driving another species to extinction tho. You can find it here, along with lots of interesting, in depth research.

SunRose Aromatics:

Rosanne, the owner, is so knowlegeable, and her oils are the best quality. She also carries Australian sandalwood - Santalum spicatum - which is a renewable resource and a good substitute for the east Indian Santalum album. She stopped carrying east Indian sandalwood about 2 years ago.
