VOTE FOR YOUR TOP TEN FAVOURITE POSTER AMONG THE TOP TEN FINALISTS ALREADY SELECTED BY THE JURY PANEL OF THE ARABAD PEACE POSTER CONTEST THAT HAS RECENTLY ENDED WITH A SWING, WHERE THE CREATIVE COMMUNITY OF BEIRUT GATHERED AT LA VOILE BEACH, SOUTH LEBANON TO GIVE PEACE A NEEDED DANCE THROUGH THE ARTS, DESIGN & CREATIVITY.

Group Description

If we Can't make Peace, at least Celebrate it!!

"The nation and the world are in dire need of creative extremists, " were the words of Martin Luther King.

All designers from the Middle East drew a Peace message, got a chance to grab ace cash prizes & one massive exposure throughout regional media...

ArabAd, the Communications & Business publication of the Middle East, called designers to join ArabAd Peace Poster Design contest & draw an inspirational message tackling the notion of Peace, as the Peace symbol has turned 50 this past April.

ArabAd Magazine & the design community of the Middle East got a beautiful opportunity to celebrate Peace the real way, giving a tribute to its symbol while pausing for reflection & dreaming of a better world using just a creative & cultural weapon.
That is what happened at the SWING, Sunday August 24, 2008.

Many believe that Creativity Rocks, Design does Matter, as War isn't an Option!
As a result, they gave ArabAd magazine an overwhelming feedback with their participation and we all ended giving peace a beautiful dance on that SWING night, in the wonderful set up of La Voile Beach Rmeyleh, South Lebanon.
For the rest, just Imagine all the people....

All artworks will be housed @ Artlounge gallery Beirut for the whole month of September.

Your mind is your weapon & you can make a difference!
