I feel mediocre

hesitant slip [deleted] 2:33am, 3 April 2011
I wanted to start a flickr to get some of my work seen. I have never taken a photo class. Photography is just a hobby for me but seeing all of this amazing work makes me think I am no good. Maybe I just don't have the eye for it.

I'm doing the same thing. The great thing is to examine all the work here and develop a sense of what works for you. Ask the photographers questions about their techniques if you really like a picture and that will help build your knowledge. I think there are also groups dedicated to types of cameras. I know I saw one for canon, but I own a nikon and a panasonic.

Most important thing? Have fun and don't get disheartened by the excellent photography. Instead, enjoy it!
