New Mast and Boom Quote
To keep a track of costs I received the following quote from Sailspar this week.

Weekend specification mast
F67 Section (118 x 82 x 2 x 2.05 kgs/mtr) in one unjoined length 24’6”
Cast masthead riveted to section with sheave for main halyard
Sheave exit boxes for topping lift, jib and spinnaker halyards
Internal tangs using T terminals for 2 Cap shrouds and 4 lower shrouds
1 set of aerofoil spreaders on through bars
5 Internal halyards through heel casting for leading aft
1 spinnaker pole topping lift uphaul exit box
Fixed eye for spinnaker pole.
Electrical conduit to masthead with messanger
Track gate for sail slides
Hinge heel with incorporated sheaves for leading halyard aft
Attachment for kicker
Tri-white light (12v) £187.00
VHF aerial with wind indicator £123.00
F36 (Section size -52 x 71.6mm)
Inboard boom end with 3 sheaves and jammers
2 slab reefing bailes, kicker baile and mainsheet baile
Gooseneck fitting with tack hook, toggle block and tack shackle.
Outboard boom end with 3 sheaves and provision for topping lift.
A complete boom that has 2 internal slab reefs and a clew outhaul
1- Forestay in 5mm 1-Backstay in 5mm
2- Cap shrouds in 5mm
4- Lower shrouds in 5mm
Wires are Stainless steel 1 x 19 construction have swage terminals fitted to upper with lower ends left over long.
Sta-Lok bottlescrews supplied loose for fitting on site.
The bottlescrews are chromed bronze with Sta-Lok stud uppers and strap toggles bottom
