Inboard Engine - extracting

Is this as painful as going to the dentist?
I have looked at the other topics, they mostly cover outboard.
On my newly aquired Achilles 24 the engine is running (I'm told by previous owners wife) but looks corroded, and I want preventative maintainance. Refitting, painting etc the hull, so it makes sense to do it now.
I have an engine hoist, but its on the ground ! Having undone fuel, electrics, exhaust, morse controls, mounts etc. Is it a case of man-handleing the lump out ?
Not looked at prop shaft / coupling yet. I assune thats straight forward.
Many thanks

Thanks... Its a diesel, Petter mini 6. I cant find a figure for the weight in my user handbook.
Snoopy route looks the business !. I have a back hoe digger... I shall use that to lift. The fengine doesnt lift clear, as you know from using a skate board. (it is part way under the deak floor). I need a skate board then.
I am having trouble undoing the drive shaft bolts. Lack of space hinders a good leverage.
