9m Windows

What is it with me and windows? After 5 attempts at getting Snoopy dry, it finally seems to have been achieved. (Part of the deal when I sold Snoopy to Rhys was that I would fix the windows).

Now Super Snoopy's port window has split from top to bottom. True they were the originals and very crazed, but nontheless my paranoia about the great perspex satan who doesn't like me is on the increase again.

Has anyone out there seen a 9m or 840 with separately glazed windows? Given the hassle with Snoopy, I am inclined to go straight to aluminium framed windows, if the curvature of the topsides is not too great.

I had problems with splits from screw hole to screw hole twice when I replaced the windows. Had them glued in 2 years ago - no leaks and survived 50 degc summer temperatures and some hairy windward immersons. - Tony

We've got 2 840s with seperately glazed windows at Thornbury. Do you want to come and look?

Snifter, I'd love to but we're off slumming it down the Solent in a Bavaria 36 tomorrow for a week. Can I contact you upon return?

Sorry for delay in replying - I've been down in cardiff for the BCYA rally - photos to follow.
Of course - contact me on your return. I'll try and put a picture of one of the 840's windows up in the meantime.
