Hi guys, I have a bit corrosion on my pintle i'm thinking of replacing it anyone done this job? Any pointers or links would be a great help.

Not ann easy job unless you have a genuine replacement to hand .
Is it worn (easier to rebush it) or Corroded badly ?

Thanks chille, just got a phone call from local boat yard guy he said "its fine for this season and maybe rebush it in a years time".

Beware of this " it will do for this season" . That is what we thought and now our rudder is 90 ft down at the bottom of Loch Lomond. Now we have to have another manufactured.
