I'd like to get some photos of my betta showing off coloration truer to what I see versus what the camera sees. Any tips? I recall seeing plans online once for building a light box where flourescent light was projected up from below, but I have yet to make an attempt.

Hi Windy234,
Try using an off camera flash and pointing it to the side of the bow.
Also I turn down the flash exposure by 2 stops & position the flash next to the glass to avoid reflections.
