one song you never tire of
one song that was like love at first sight
hit your brain like a thunderbolt
squeezed your heart and made you breathless
made your head spin in a glorious delirium of joy
one song or songs youve heard so many times because u love it so you can hear it in your head like a radio or a tape u just switch it on and there it is

some songs remind us of something
or they become like a soundtrack to the movie which is your life
some songs are just so good that you want to have it inside you all the time
and when you hear it something in side you
switches on something deep
or you just smile
SMILE SMILE
cos its YOURS

you can list as many
why not
but to start for one
I have to say a song i never tire of that never stops thrilling me and take me for a ride is
JIMI HENDRIX
VOODOO CHILD...................... (slight return)
man when that first cresendo or whatever you call it when it expoldes into that I dont have the words
but its got the best intro of any song I ever heard
and I just go a bit insane inside my head
I might of heard that song a million times by now
but one things for sure it is my favorite all time forever song and I know it will always be

Jimi Hendrix....

Nirvana- Scentless Apprentice rehearsal demo
"I wrote this song, it goes, it goes..."
Johnny Thunders & the Heartbreakers- Chinese Rocks
best song about pawn shops ever! And how drugs are bad.
Maggot Sandwich- Dead To My World
great FLA punk circa '85. I have NO idea what the lyrics are!!
Butthole Surfers- Live PCPPEP (the whole EP)
They lost me after 'piouhgd'...
Tom Waits- The Piano Has Been Drinking
OK, maybe not rock, but still a favorite of mine.
The Germs- Caught In My Eye
I have no idea why this song moves me to tears, but it does.
Circle Jerks- Paid Vacation
"just another oil company scam"...
Pray For Rain- Taxi to Heaven
From the SID & NANCY soundtrack. I like all the songs on it.
Dead Boys- Son Of Sam
From 'Night Of The Living Dead Boys', not the studio version...
Rocket From The Tombs- The Day Earth Met RFTT
Fucking amazing...Cleveland proto punk from 1975.
GG Allin & The Texas Nazis- Boozin & Pranks
Poorly recorded in Dallas, 1985. The on stage patter is worth it, GG still had a sense of humor, well, somewhat...

DEE DEE RAMONE wrote CHINESE ROCKS
Joey wouldnt do it since it was too druggy and they were trying to break into main stream and get some radio play
later they figured fuck it and did it but by then THUNDERS made it his own
the pawn shop were they would..were everyone went I remeber RICHARD HELL carrying a little b&W TV..over to 12th street and 3rd ave thats were the closet pawn shop was so thats were everyone went..not me I was not into that who'll trip...
the girlfriend in the shower stall was CONNIE crazy CONNIE
by the way DEE DEE wrote it in the apartment I lived in owned by CHRIS STEIN of BLONDIE
he s been quoted saying he wrote it in Debby Harrys apartment
but it wasnt....
he also once said to me while hanging in CBGB's
"Lets get the hell out of this dump and go to C.B.'s" and I said
"but Dee DEE...., we ARE in CB's
he swung his head of shiny shiny hair around and said
"O YEA WOW we ARE hahahahahahahahahahaha!'
DeeDee was a pisser!
