Dear Photographers,
The 11th Annual Photoshare Contest is in full swing! Upload your photos and share the contest with others by April 8. You’ll not only connect viewers to important places and global programs but also support nonprofits communicating critical health and development messages.
The contest has a top prize of $1,000! Photoshare awards continue to be highly sought-after, and the contest is an exciting opportunity to highlight important public health initiatives and support nonprofit photo sharing. Learn more about the Photoshare contest, prizes, and rules here:

Photoshare is a product of the Knowledge for Health (K4Health) Project, based at the Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs (CCP).
Photoshare encourages those who are interested in Photoshare’s mission to participate in the contest. The contest is a great incentive for those who would otherwise share photos year-round but have trouble finding the time.
Participating in the contest is a fun and rewarding way to support Photoshare’s global efforts in health and development photography and to help build the Photoshare collection. Contest entries are accepted through Photoshare's website submission form.
Deadline for Entries: April 8, 2016
More About the Contest
We have continued our partnership this year with Healthcare Information For All (HIFA), to focus attention on the critical role of health care providers with the HIFA Photography Award. HIFA is a key partner in Photoshare's efforts to document and connect with health professionals working to improve the availability and use of health care information in
low- and middle-income countries.
In addition to cash prizes awarded to first, second and third place winners–participants submitting entries to the featured Healthcare Providers category are eligible for an additional cash prize. A separate cash prize will also be awarded for the Global Families: Parents and Households series. Best of Show images are selected based on topic relevancy and technical execution by a panel of independent judges. Contest winners and finalists will be showcased on Photoshare and hosted on a number of other medium-to-high impact virtual venues.
*New this Year: We have continued our new Photoshare award series for Global Families—an annual award selected by Photoshare staff. This year’s focus is on Global Families: Parents and Households. Images should capture couples and caregivers with their children, including photos of homes and family life that reflect healthy and engaged families. Photos can also highlight local family advocacy initiatives.
