PROBLEM STATEMENT Kiyuni and Bageza rural sub-counties in general has very low level of safe water coverage of less than 10% as compared to the existing population particularly in the parishes which were chosen , It is observed that majority of the people in community use unclean water from unprotected sources. The protected water sources in the two parishes are at 6%. The baseline survey revealed a very poor and pathetic sanitation in the community, with many homes that do not have any form of latrines, while rubbish and water disposal is very poor. There are so many bad hygiene practices in the area. Well wishers can help by making donations or raise fund on our behalf at the moment we lack funding to solve the above problem

Tactics:
12 water sources protected in one year,6 shallow wells constructed,6 sprig tanks,Safe latrine coverage raised from the present 18% to 35%,Management structures to protect outputs put in place e.g 24 water source users committees,Increased community concern/belonging towards the project ( water, hygiene and sanitation)
