welcome to this tiny corner of the universe.
i recently spent a short time in a small group studying the MDGs and working on personal and group responses.
it was an impossibly short three sessions.
and those goals seem so overwhelming and can induce us to observe with inaction.
but many tiny steps equal a tipping point.
bless you all for your contributions.
:O)
peace,
beth

Hi and Best wishes in the pursuit of your goals Beth. Some of the workers on Flickr are a magnificent yet unsung source of heroes. They toil with the porr in foreign countries and quietly post photos showing the plight of tribes and urban squaller alike.
The world seems totally unfair looking at the photos of lace, silver and gold yet there are still children born to live and die in rubbish piles only metres away.
By caring enough to spare thoughts and vocalise our shame, our collective governments should understand better the need to share, care and ACT.
I won't post pretend pictures of poverty we all see them. I will post pictures of hope and channels for positive thought.
Congratulations to those who join Beth. Have fun and enjoy the joys of flickr but please do drop by here and support!
Cheers
Dan
