Group DescriptionThis will be a place to post pictures of members of the Brewster, Parsons, and Bates family tree, sort of a photo geneaology. The specific conjunction for these three families is that of Lucy Brewster, who married 1) Clark Bates, and 2) Francis Janes Parsons.
Lucy Brewster was the daughter of Elisha H. Brewster and Saphronia Martha Kingman, Francis Parsons was married to 1) Mary Aurelia Blackman, 2) Lucy Brewster, and 3) Harriet Noble. Lucy descended from Elder William and Mary Brewster, and Francis descended from Joseph and and Mary (Bliss) Parsons. I have been unable to find the parents of Clark Bates. Lucy and Clark's daughter Nettie married the son of Francis and Mary Aurelia (Blackman) Parsons, Francis Herbert Parsons. In other words, step-sister married step-brother.
Any other family that connects into these three families is welcome to post their family photos.
Group RulesDo not post photos belonging to other members of this group to other websites, including genealogy websites, without specific permission from the member who posted the picture. It is ok to post a link to this group at other websites, or to post links to specific photos here, but it is not ok to post the photos themselves at other websites without permission.
This is a bit of a genealogy game. Here's how it goes. For any person already listed, show your family's connection to that specific person (hopefully at least three generations) which connects to your related family member's photo or painting. Take your pick of any group member's family tree listed here, so long as you have a picture to post related to that other person. You can then post the rest of the line of your family in text (no photo required). Others can then build on your family tree. Please post your individuals to a set, so people can quickly trace your family tree.
