Letters by the Water: swimmingpool letters, letters from bathing places, letters from ships and boats... they should have some relation with water. If the connection isn't obvious from the photo, please put an explanation in the description text. A context shot in this discussion thread mauy also be a good idea.

A is for the Ocean - a watery icon.

Just such a pity my favourite J is already in the pool! Not only is it from an oyster bar, you can see the sea in the background!

J
Eva the Weaver PRO 10 years ago
Oh, yes, that would have been lovely to have now.
Eva the Weaver PRO 10 years ago
Hmm. A high-pressure was is also water, right? I posted the C from Conrad's tank truck, it's with some of the washing gear in the frame, as well. So if thats OK: Dd.

D on the side of the esplanade wall. On the other side of that wall is the sea. In fact there's also some frost or ice (frozen water) at the top of the wall visible in the photo.

Eva the Weaver PRO 10 years ago

i have a life preserver from the queen of oak bay, a ferry in BC, but the Q is way too small to use here...
Life ring
Eva the Weaver PRO 10 years ago
Tsk, tsk. Would have been a very nice Q otherwise.
aristide Posted 10 years ago. Edited by aristide (member) 10 years ago
i have been at the old danube and there was not one single q but today i've found one from a bbq at the danube island. i am just waiting for my batteries to recharge. then we can go on. sorry for the delay!

Thanks for trying, Aristide - and I just love to hear the stories of others who do this sort of thing… I always chase both numbers and letters, and often some tricky guessing locality, AND other themes like lions and fountains… so I usually catch at least something. But very often not the most urgently needed stuff.

finally...here is the proof ;-)

or do you prefer this tequila-q just from the opposite site?

i'm not sure what you mean, aristide? we need to have our X before we have our Y. removing your Y for the moment, but please feel free to complain if i am misunderstanding something.
aristide 10 years ago
it's allright, mag3737, urbanmkr said that the x is already in the pool and i was answering her.
