Currently the camera I use for almost everything is my Canon 30D. I also have an older 10D but it rarely sees any action.

I've been using Canons for many years now: an Elan 7E film camera, a 10D, a 20D and now a 40D. (I have kept all the pre-40D cameras, even though I only use the 40D now. I couldn't bear to part with my one remaining film camera for nostalgic reasons). I also have a small Canon G7 for those times that I don't want to take my big stuff.

I have been using with great pleasure and satisfaction a Nikon D50 for a few years now, but a gorgeous new Nikon D300 is winging its way to my apartment and I should have it by Tuesday....YAY, I'M EXCITED!!!
I started in film with a Yashica GSN Electro35, then moved into a Canon AE1. From there I moved into digital about 3 years ago with a Canon S1IS. After some saving I finally moved to a Canon Rebel XTi. For a "take it everywhere" camera I have a Canon 650 IS. My final tool is my imagination and Photoshop CS to see were I can take my photos.

I use the Sony DSC-H9/B
I thought it would be a good "starter" camera for the super low price of $100!! Brand new in unopened box!! I couldn't pass it up! lol
Peace, Love, and Happiness to all!
I roll with a Nikon D80 18-135mm, 50mm, and a 70-300 telephoto

For film I use a Nikon FM-10 with a 35-70mm Nikkor and 2x teleconverter.

Currently seeking a medium format and 4x5 press camera, someday...

I used a canon when I shot film and a yashika 35mm ....both were good film cameras but when I went digital I went with Olympus E500 for my DSLR and a Kodak for my middle of the road kick around zoom camera .... I have been pleased with both so far .... just not so pleased with the operator as much ...

I have learned more since the switch since I dont have to wait on proceessing to see results and the expense to experiment is less ... so I find I shoot more.....

so digital was a good switch for me

All Canon with some Sigma lenses. Canon 40D, Canon 20D, and a Powershot S5 IS. The 40D is the most used. The 20D is a backup. And the S5 is kept in the car for when I stumble onto a good photo by accident!

well my entry to the canon world was with film and an eos 300... a cheap piece of plastic tat, but it took a few great images. I quickly upgraded to an Eos 30 (elan7e) which was superb.

Now i have a 10D which is extremely similar in size, styling and operation to the elan7 which means switching between the two is nice and easy and doesnt slow the workflow down.

As im a skint student i dont really have the money for a new body at the moment, so instead spent what cash i could scrape up on a 24-105 F4 L IS, and a 100-400 L IS.... i would like a 17-40 to complete that setup and give me a great set of lenses for when i upgrade my body (hopefully to a 5D)

Started years ago with a Nikon film camera. I hit hard times, wasn't using the camera , sold it. A few years later bought a Minolta Maxxum film camera. Built a medium size system, two bodies, several flashes, several lenses and other accessories. Because I already had a lot of Minolta glass and accessories I stuck with Minolta/Sony. My first digital was a Minolta Dimage 7i, which is a point and shoot. I later bought a Sony Alpha A100.
At this point excluding it's limitations I think the Dimage is the better camera. Knowing what I know now I wish I had bought a Minolta Maxxum 7d. The failure rate on the A100 is disturbing.
