Welcome to the 4x5 Modern Quilt Bee. Winter 2015 Round is now in progress. Please join us the first week of April for the next round!

This group discussion is for members only.

Group Description

The idea of this Modern Sampler Bee is where each block is constructed using a different pattern and even if two people make the same pattern, it will be made with different fabrics. We want to celebrate the talents and creativity of each other regardless of their experience level.

What’s in the name? The reason why it’s called the 4x5 Modern Bee is you’ll be swapping 4 times a year with 5 members. At the end of the year you should have 20 unique blocks to make a fabulous quilt!

There are specific guidelines before joining the group. The main ones are:

1. Members will be accepted depending on their current Flickr photostream and their past swap history.
2. Joining the bee means commitment to the deadline dates - no one is perfect we're all here to have fun. All we ask is that you do your best.
3. This is a modern bee - meaning we are like minded in our fabric choices and creation!

Carefully read over the guidelines and if you think this is your cup o' tea then join the fun!

•At the beginning of each quarter – the link for the form will be posted. THIS FORM NEEDS TO BE FILLED OUT DURING THE SIGN UP PERIOD OF EACH QUARTER IF YOU WISH TO PARTICIPATE

•If you change your colors – please talk to your caretaker so that she can alert the rest of the members.

•Unfinished blocks are 12.5x12.5
