25 women (20 guests and 5 professional guides from Sheri Griffith Expeditions) traveled for 6 days down the Colorado River, putting in just below Moab, Utah. We floated through Canyonlands National Park to Lake Powell. On the last day, we flew in small planes over the entire river corridor we had just rafted. The trip celebrated Page Lambert's 20th river writing journeys for women. Roxanne Swentzell, a renowned sculptor from the Santa Clara Pueblo in New Mexico, was Page's featured guest.

During this six-day trip, Roxanne guided us in sculpting with our hands, using river clay and materials gathered from the land, and Page guided us in sculpting with words.
