Welcome Pablo - it seems you will keep us company during the last 3 months of our 2007 diaries. Hope you get to visit some of your fellow-diarists' streams - that's what it's all about.

Bienvenido! I was a late starter, too.

Enjoy!

Holy crap!!! 3 months, is that all?
Is it just me or did this year race by? I can't believe it!!

Looking forward to more!
Mexico city is the most populated in the world, and one of the largest, it´s over 30 km form one side to the other. This means that there´s people like this woman who travels for 2 or 3 hours a day to get to work. This generates unusual behaivor like sleeping while standing.

This photo is from a popular newspaper, It says that recent medical studies found out that tacos have medicinal healing properties.

welcome pablo -- the news about tacos makes me feel better about my dinner of tacos and chile rellenos last nite.....
Sunshine I'll take some next time I see you

Bella Keep it going with the heatlhy diet

Rob Thanks I'll do my best
It was today a dark day with lots of rain, however the good news was it stopped raining right at the time I had to leave the house and there was clear the rest of the afternoon and night. This remembers me to "little blue" the song by Beautiful south, wich reminds me of a girl I really like.
"Little blue, how do you do?, how can a flower so pretty be so laden down with dew?"

Sunshine - I highly recomend the beautiful south albums, particularly the album "blue is the color"
friuduric 11 years ago
Several of the Beautiful South members were in the earlier band The Housemartins. Have you ever heard them? They're a bit more ... political and vocal than Beautiful South.

Hello I'm a fan of the "lord of the rings" books, so I was thinking that today most be aniversary of something, maybe the day he figured out some character or some name, or maybe even some really important part of the story, so this is a little tribute to whatever it is today he figured out so many years ago.

I like the effect you did with the magnifying glass on the books, very cool!

Ugh, 15 hour days... those are not fun.
Sunshine.- Great!, now if we bump in the street we can say Hello to each other.

Jallen.- Yeah, no fun at all
03-10-07 "Mayor blackout"

Last night late at night when I was on my way home there was a mayor blackout and I amost kill my self trying to cross a bridge, fortunately the light of this building saved me. It was the only night in several blocks around.

Pablo, I think I cursed myself when I told you 15 hours is no fun. I haven't been home since yet.. Not long after I said that here, a major catastrophe happened at work so I had to work all night and sleep a couple hours on my office floor.

So, 15 hours sounds more fun right now!!! haha

That is an eerie blackout that you captured.. nice picture.
Jallen .- Well thats the problem of being resposable jaja I had better luck yesterday and only worked 12 hours!!!! maybe today I`ll be as lucky as yesterday.

hahaha very true! :-)

Ok, I get to go home now!!!! YAY
04-10-07 "sunset in the city" a.k.a. "Life through the office's kitchen"

At the final day of the most heavy week of the month I was taking a 5 minute break drinking some tea in the kitchen and saw this inspired sunset, wich is rarely seen because Mexico City is really polluted, so this kind of thing is, if not totally unusual, not everyday's view. good weekend.

06-10-07 "Hello"

Even so this photo says a lot of things, there's no explanation for it . I had been doing the photo of the day before I started this diary and the photos are from two kinds, neither is something of my day like yesterday's or it is a way of saying something that can't be explained with words. (Even so there's words in here).

jallen.- that's in fact a sad sign

08-10-07 "Stormy Weather"

At first I used to say I would never take photos of landscapes and flowers and stuff like that, and now I finally have a camera (for I never had a camera before until I bought one a month ago and started this page) I found myself taking lots and lots of photos of the sky, flowers, sunsets and stuff. Maybe that's the problem of talking without knowing about something.

Yeah, the camera has really changed my perspective on lots of things.

10-10-07 "Stairs to nothing"

This used to be a building from Chrysler big and important, now is just trash and dirt, the only thing left up is these stairs which acctually don't take any place at all. After all, the most unsuspected things that look small and unsignificant are the ones that remind behind us.

A spiral staircase to nowhere. How symbolic. Real soft sky you have in the background, and that's what strikes me about the two previous also, dense and soft. Apart from that, I have been enjoying getting up-to-date on your diary seeing slices of your life, getting to see you're a pretty normal, hard-working, hard-drinking guy!
Rob .- Well, what can I say? drinking is the nacional sport in my town, and I'm practicing for the olympics. Sadly, in recent times I have been working most of the day so not having so much time to elaborate my photos, but that`s gonna change in the future.
sunshinecity 11 years ago
lol sport nacional! Hahahah
caeful.. the bellow shows with too much drinking!
Sunshine.- Don't worry I can handel it jajaja
By the way, how do you put the reference to my profile with my icon in your answers?

11-10-07 "3 of 3" Way home or this one is missing clarity

Third of a sequence I took called "way home". Every day I do the same road from work to home, I go in the subway, go trough a long hall and walk 3 blocs. It's a dark obscure road, which repeats itself every single day. How ever melancholic this might seem, it's in fact in this routine the moment I found myself most calmed in all day.
