The baby room
We are expecting our first child for march, we made some painting last week in the baby's room.
I wanted something really happy and fresh, that was the first step, now, we have to finish the room :)

Love the cats names! Very funny indeed!

They're very cute in that "look but don't touch" way -- I'm allergic to kitties :(

30 weeks
That's me and my 23 extra pounds, i'm 30 weeks today and i feel really huge :D
This is a really bad photo, i took it five minutes before i had to go back to work.
We don't know if it's a boy or a girl, we want to keep the surprise until the birth of our child.
(we would love to have a girl, but a baby boy will be great too!)

Running for the good waves
We went to the sea today (10mn from our house).
Even if the weather was not really good, there was lot's of young surfers.
This young girl was waiting on the beach for the good waves, she saw the waves growing from where she was and then run to catch them.
We received this morning our 400D.
After someone stoled our Olympus E500 when we were in Paris, we deceided to get a new camera.
We wanted the D80, but it was too expensive for us, so we choose the Canon 400D with two SIgma lenses.
Now i need to learn how to use it!

You'l learn...congrats..and with the baby on the way :-)

Pouille, my name is Pouille
Here is Pouille, our Nabaztag.
Pounet bought me Pouille at the Apple Expo '05 in Paris.
We decided that it will be a girl!
She's talking to us when she wants, tells us what time it is, friends can send us messages...
It's a really funny rabbit (and we don't have to clean it up :D)

Cows
I love cows.
When someone offers me a gift, it's often a cow, that's why i have so many now :D
You can see a card from the "Café 202", it's one of my favorite place in Paris (rue du faubourg Saint-Antoine, Paris 12).
We used to go there often when we were living in Paris, Pounet and i.
That's here that we decided to live together, then to move from Paris to "La Bretagne".
We were often talking about our future.
And look at us now, our first child will be there in march :)
YoannLeGoff 12 years ago
That's funny,
I also have a friends whose favorite gifts are bases on cow ...
It's a tricky pleasure to look for a new one now ;o)

Good luck for the new Child, ...
an idea for the name ?

That will make an excellent topic for the diary ...
Let's see that ... Congratulations !

You DO love cows...holy moly...

We have one of the toys that you turn over to make a cow sound, you know what I am talking about? Well, we got it for Felix and the moment he heard it he burst out crying. We thought it was because he was so young so just out of curiousity we have tried it again every couple of months. He cries every single time. We think he doesn't like cows...or maybe just fake cow noises...

Do you live in France right now?

MacBook
Well Apple.
It's a big part of our life.
Pounet and I are working in an Apple Solution Expert in Britanny.
We have the chance to get all the new products at work and we can easily test them.
I work on an iMac 17", Pounet on a black MacBook 2ghz, i have a MacBook C2D 1,83Ghz at home.
We have a Mac Mini too.
So it seems that you will often see some Aplle Pictures here :)
Btw : my lovely desktop is ©del4yo, you can find it here :

Little sock
Today, i'm starting my "congé de maternité" (maternity leave), i'll be back at work in june.
I'm happy but it's strange to be at home, i really like my job and for the moment i feel "guilty" to stay here and do nothing at all :D
Now i have to take care of me and the baby :)
I'm waiting for this baby, i'm so impatient to meet him/her, i know lot's of pregnant mothers who are afraid for their childbirth, but not me :)
It will be the most beautiful day of my life.
If everything is ok, i will give birth to my child at home with my midwife.
In France, giving birth to his child at home is really rare (less than 1%) and lot's of people don't understand.
But it's our choice...
The medicalization of the pregnancy is really strong here and i want for the birth of my child, the most natural childbirth as i can.

Wow! Wow! Wow! You are having your baby at home! And in France! I am totally impressed. I dream of doing that for our next baby. Some friends down the street just had their baby at home...it was their second child and she came so fast the midwife didn't arrive in time. But, don't worry. I don't think it will happen that way for you.

I was like you. I wasn't afraid. I was excited about what I was going to experience!

Enjoy your time now. Sleep. Go out. Because soon...you will be tired and constantly breastfeeding. But, it will be so great...
