I thought I'd start a separate thread to ease my confusion.

Is this geeky enough?

Haha, good idea. Seems everyone has 5 different ideas of their own! Not that I'm complaining, as it took nearly two months for any activity to arise in this group. I'll see if I can make it Sunday..

Hopefully I can make Sunday too. If I beg my mom for money for more gas and film!

Hope to see you there. I am picking Miss Plum up at a station near my house so she does not have to go through the smelly Norristown station.

Well I was able to beg more money from my parents, so I'll be there.

You guys missed a great time at the burnt-down death trap of Lambertville Highschool. I ended up not sleeping at all, and left at 5am. Got there when it was still dark and eerie. Got some great shots, trying out the Holga that waslent to me, and the mini 35mm camera that the lab tech gave me, which actually takes 17.5mm frames. So a 35mm roll that would normally be 24 shots will give you 48 instead. So I was psyched about that. I wouldn't really say that place was haunted, but it sure was scary has hell, standing before it in the pitch black waiting for the sun to rise.

Now it's off to bed for me. Been up since 12 noon yesterday.. *zzzzz*

Oh wait, it's at 12:30 today. Ha, and I was running around frantically thinking I had to be there at noon. That's a sigh of relief. Gotta get me some stupid colour film at Wal-Mart since all the real photo labs are closed. And I wanted more 120mm film too. *waaah*

We had a blast Ed. Met some cool new members for the first time.

So where's everyone's photos from today since you all use digital and can slap 'em online in the time it takes me to process one roll of film?? hehehe

Great turnout for wandering around the park and state hospital grounds. Too bad about the weather and limited light.

I know! I was so pissed I didn't get to take advantage of that roll of infrared. The light seemed promising at first, then just decided to be completely overcast. Which is fine if you're going for a certain mood, look. But certainly no shadowplay. :(

Ed: I don't know where you repeated yourself, but it's okay. I do it about 3 times per sentence, sometimes. ;)

"Guest Dogs" sounds like it could be the name of a funky Indie band. I have nothing else to say other than that. Yay.

It was a fun day. I enjoyed meet some new folks.

I'll be uploading a few shots (hopefully some that aren't all grey) over the next day or two. Oh, and Ursula, I can proces digital photos as slowly as film ones -- I'm still reviewing some from two months ago.

Ha "guest dogs"

Yeah, I keep forgetting that people here actually have lives and jobs and things to do. ;) I'd have made 50 prints by now if I had my own darkroom. Maybe I'll make some more contact sheet scans until I can get to the darkroom tomorrow...

I've heard they do this sleep thing on other planets. Certainly not from the planet I come from, though.
