Group DescriptionThe Powder River Basin in eastern Wyoming is a hotspot for coal trains. The landscape is ever changing as the coal mines continue to extract coal from the area. Originally served by Chicago and North Western and Burlington Northern, this area went from a one track line to now four in places like Logan Hill. The rails are now filled with the trains of BNSF and Union Pacific.
