As well as being a good place to connect with other members and share your initial reactions, thoughts about how to 'solve it' and any links you think might help the group. This can also be a good place to include any old photos you have that fit the challenge or your work-in-progress during the two weeks before posting your final image to the group pool.

We're looking forward to hearing people's thoughts, good luck everyone!

Oh a nice easy one this time then! That's me being sarcastic BTW. Split second......just right........oh boy. Didn't have much else planned for the next couple of weeks, better start right away, could take quite a few frames.

the "split second" is the core of street photography!

So fundamentally this challenge is about the "decisive moment" as promoted by the likes of Cartier-Bresson. These shot do not come easily, in terms that you often have to take a lot of shots before you get that moment or sometimes it is just luck..

I hope we don't just get a plethora of family cats and dogs in response to this challenge, but a a wide range of images which as Sue puts it are "just right".

Here are a few old shots of mine which I've dragged out of the archive:-

So many shots I missed - a millisecond too early or a millisecond too late - probably sums this one up for me. When it all comes together for a moment and then disappears again, like a shooting star. Hmm, it's going to be a difficult one, but very satisfying if it comes off.

Some stunners above ^^

Just a couple from me...
