Just thought you would like to know where the admin team were in terms of selecting images for the book. The team met for the first time in the ‘real’ world on Saturday to start the exciting selection process. It was very difficult but the team managed to whittle down the images to those that would be included in a first draft. There is still a way to go and further e...
Post here details of any exhibitions that you think might be of interest to the group members. If possible give details of who is featured, where it is, dates of exhibition, website links, etc..
If you visit a show or exhibition; then perhaps give us a brief review.
As dates of events become obsolete, posts will be deleted.
We are still waiting for some of our members to e-mail back their images for the book. Please can we remind those that haven't already done so, to send these across as soon as possible.
(Please check your flickr e-mail)
Leripix and Palofperu (aka Leri and Pam) are planning a jaunt from Kings Lynn to Norwich in July. Any fellow 26rs in the area fancy meeting for a brew? Any hints and tips about the area would be most welcome too. We'll be using public transport and exploring this part of the world from 7th - 11th. Cheers :)

This has been a tough challenge to find favourites for. So many of the pictures only give up their meaning with a written back story, some very complex.

“Photography can often be a very solitary pursuit and an excuse for the shy to hide. Do something you wouldn't usually do, photograph someone or something in a different way and subvert the pictures meaning, approach a subject that you've been putting off because y...

Decide upon an emotion you wish to convey, use that as your guide to build your story.

"One of photography's greatest strengths is its ability to emote through its ability to suggest. How would you frame your image based on the emotion you have decided upon? What colours will you use (or not)? What detai...

Remove the separation between yourself and your subject

"Following the end of apartheid in 1994, I realized that I was no longer motivated by objective journalistic or documentary concepts. Rather, I wanted to find ways of expressing a feeling through a body of work. This involved letting go of ...
