Kitchen Makeover Product

I found a great product for a kitchen makeover. I wanted metallic brass/copper units but they are soooo expensive, so I bought some vinyl vehicle wrap to see if it worked, its the stuff they use to pimp up cars.

It's like sticky backed plastic, you cut it to size, stick it on the doors and then bond it using a heat gun which almost shrinkwraps the stuff to the door. It looks really cool, i'll post a pic, but for £70 I covered the whole kitchen.

Now the worktops and floors look AWFUL in comparison, so that's the next project!!

Mark, this looks amazing. I love what you have done to your kitchen cabinets, the finish looks great. I wonder if it can be used on walls?

Do you mind me asking where you got from? Thanks for sharing!

Hi Emily
I think it can be pretty much used anywhere. I got it off ebay, if you search for 'Gold Vinyl Wrap' you'll see loads of sellers with all different colours. I bought mine off a seller called classictrading-uk and they were really helpful. I got 5m x 1.5m for about £55 including shipping and that was plenty to do the whole kitchen. You can get samples for a couple of quid though so try it out.
