2013 State Parks Photo Contest Closes, Winners Announced. www.tpwd.state.tx.us/newsmedia/releases/?req=20130531a

Group Description

Capture a magic moment at a Texas State Park!

The contest runs from March 1, 2013 until April 30, 2013.

It could be the joy on your child’s face when she catches her first fish. Or maybe it’s the hawk observing you from his perch. It may even be the view from a historic overlook…or the sunset that puts life into perspective.

Your challenge is to capture that magic moment on camera.

Share your photos with us and you could be eligible to win one of these prizes:

1st Place: GoPro Hero3 Black Edition camera, valued at $399 retail, courtesy of Whole Earth Provision Co.

2nd Place: Camping Weekend at the Texas State Park or Natural Area of your choice, as available on selected dates, to include entry and campsite fees.

3rd Place: An Outdoor Family Workshop for 6 persons, as available on selected dates.
