As a "limbering up " exercise it might be fun to post an image OF, or ABOUT YOURSELF to this discussion thread. It can be a straight forward self-portrairt, or an experimental image that gives some clues about it's maker. Be wild and adventurous !

To post images to a discussion thread...
1.Open the picture to be posted, at top left of picture find "Share" and click on this to get drop-down menu.
2. Click on "Grab the HTML/BBC code....this appears in the box below.
3. Beneath the box choose the size...Medium 640 is pretty good and just check that the HTML button below is checked (usually does this automatically)
4. Copy the HTML code by clicking in the box, highlighting the code, go to "Edit" and "copy"
5. Open the discussion thread and "paste" image into next available empty box "Add your comment here..." box by going to "Edit" and "paste"...
Code will appear in the box, add any words you want to include, then click "POST COMMENT"

DONE!

Here's mine from last year's 52 by 52 challenges. I'm not good at SP's so it's always a challenge to get something I don't hate :)

Hi Minikas 1
Perfect! It's creative and interesting and well composed. Love the shape of the framing of the silhouette.

The Dutch photographer Hendrik Kerstens makes images of his daughter with napkins and plastic wrapped around her head in a similar vein.

Always enjoy this image Meredith. It is the opposite of most reflection shots in that it appears we are looking through a window at you due to the subtle, almost subdued light.

Claire Kastelan - Self Portrait...

I did this for a photography course I did last year, where we had to do a self portrait showing something about our personality. I addressed my shy previous self, who would never have dared post photos on Flickr! I got the idea from one of Guy Bourdin's fashion photos.

Julia M Cameron: Great idea Julia, and I'm loving the entries so far..

vonschnapps: I'm a big fan of Guy Bourdin so thoroughly approve of this inventive homage.

And the two very different takes on painting from darcydancer: & photodrum: both work extremely well.

Here's my own, shot during whilst i was testing a flash set up a couple of weeks ago -

Not a very exciting one I'm afraid. I don't have many shots of myself.

Well this is me, my image really says that I get upto a fair amount of mischief, I like to mess about of Photoshop a little and I'm a rebel. I love to experiment and flit from one thing to another all the time.
